Blue Arctic is an independent hosting company. We own the servers our hosting runs on, and the people who run them answer your support requests.
Our story
Blue Arctic started in 2002, when hosting was turning into a race to the bottom: oversold servers, “unlimited” everything, maintenance that slipped, and support that was hard to reach when it mattered.
We went the other way and stayed there. We maintain the servers, keep software and security current, and control how many accounts share a machine instead of chasing density.
We’ve been independently owned from day one, never acquired and never folded into a larger hosting group. We still own and manage the servers our hosting runs on.
One decision was made early and never walked back: the people who run the servers answer the support requests.

Leadership
Christopher Neuman
Founder, CEO & Infrastructure/Security Lead, Blue Arctic, LLC
Christopher Neuman founded Blue Arctic in 2002 and leads the company as CEO. He also directly oversees our hosting infrastructure, systems administration, network operations and defensive security work.
On the security side, that means Linux server and network hardening, operating system and application patching, finding and fixing vulnerabilities, security monitoring, malware investigation and cleanup, incident investigation and response, recovery of compromised websites (including WordPress), and checking that each fix holds. The work covers Blue Arctic’s own infrastructure and the customer systems we are authorized to manage.
