Report Abuse or Submit a Takedown Request
Use this page to report spam, phishing, malware, network abuse, or submit a DMCA takedown request. Reports are reviewed through our abuse handling workflow and escalated based on severity.
Reports may also be submitted via email to abuse@bluearctic.com
What can be reported here
The Blue Arctic abuse channel handles reports related to our hosted infrastructure. The following categories of abuse may be submitted through our abuse ticket system:
- Spam — unsolicited bulk email or messaging originating from Blue Arctic IP space or hosted domains.
- Phishing — fraudulent pages or campaigns designed to harvest credentials, impersonate trusted entities, or deceive users.
- Malware — malicious code, exploit kits, command-and-control infrastructure, or other software designed to compromise systems.
- Network abuse — port scanning, DDoS participation, brute-force attacks, open proxies, or other hostile network activity originating from our infrastructure.
- Copyright infringement — unauthorized distribution or hosting of copyrighted material on Blue Arctic's network.
- DMCA takedown requests — formal requests for removal of infringing content under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
Reports outside these categories may be directed to general support.
Before you submit a report
Thorough reports are investigated faster. Before opening an abuse ticket, gather as much of the following information as possible:
- Domain, URL, or IP address — the specific resource involved in the abuse.
- Date and time observed — including timezone where applicable.
- Description of the issue — a clear account of what was observed and how it constitutes abuse.
- Supporting evidence — full email headers, screenshots, log excerpts, packet captures, or any other documentation that substantiates the report.
Reports that lack sufficient detail may require follow-up before investigation can begin, which delays resolution. Providing complete information at submission is the most effective way to expedite a response.
If preferred, reports may also be sent to abuse@bluearctic.com
How abuse reports are submitted
All abuse reports are handled through Blue Arctic's abuse ticket system. This system serves as the single intake channel for all abuse-related submissions, regardless of category or severity.
Using the ticket system ensures that every report is logged, timestamped, assigned a case number, and routed to the appropriate team. It also allows for structured escalation when a report involves active or critical threats. Reports submitted via untracked channels cannot be guaranteed the same level of response.
Once a ticket is received, our team reviews the report against our infrastructure records and takes action proportionate to the severity of the issue. Critical issues — such as active phishing campaigns or malware distribution — are escalated on priority. Investigations into lower-severity issues such as spam proceed on a standard queue basis. Blue Arctic does not guarantee a specific response or resolution time for abuse reports unless required by applicable law or stated in a separate written agreement.
Detailed, well-evidenced reports are resolved significantly faster than incomplete submissions. If additional information is required, our team will follow up through the ticket system. For reporters who cannot access the ticket system, reports may alternatively be submitted to abuse@bluearctic.com. Blue Arctic may restrict, suspend, remove, or preserve content or services while an investigation is pending when reasonably necessary to protect network integrity, comply with law, or mitigate harm.
To protect customer privacy, preserve investigative integrity, and comply with legal obligations, Blue Arctic is not required to disclose internal investigative steps, evidence collected, communications with the affected customer, or the ultimate outcome of an abuse investigation, except where disclosure is required by law.
DMCA Takedown Requests
Blue Arctic responds to valid notices of copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). To submit a compliant DMCA takedown request, your notice must include all of the following elements:
- Identification of the copyrighted work — a description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or, if multiple works are covered, a representative list.
- Identification of the infringing material — the specific URL, domain, or location of the content you claim is infringing, with sufficient detail to allow Blue Arctic to locate it.
- Contact information — your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address so that Blue Arctic or the allegedly infringing party can contact you.
- Good faith statement — a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Accuracy statement under penalty of perjury — a statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
- Electronic or physical signature — a signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Incomplete DMCA notices cannot be processed. Please ensure all required elements are present before submitting. Blue Arctic will make reasonable efforts to notify the affected customer of the takedown request. Blue Arctic may also comply with court orders, subpoenas, preservation requests, and lawful requests from law enforcement or other competent authorities relating to reported abuse.
