Need something the standard configs don't cover?
We build custom dedicated servers to spec — from dual-socket workstations to high-density NVMe arrays to GPU compute nodes. Tell us your workload and we'll engineer the right hardware. Quoted within one business day.
Everything you'd expect. Nothing you don't.
Bare Metal Performance
Your workload runs directly on the hardware — no VM layer, no shared CPU scheduler, no I/O contention from other tenants.
- 100% of physical CPU cores allocated to you
- No hypervisor overhead or steal time
- Enterprise SSDs in dedicated RAID arrays
- Fully managed — OS patching and security included
Dedicated IPMI Access
Out-of-band access to your server at the hardware level — independent of the OS state. Included on every config.
- Reboot, reinstall, or diagnose without SSH
- Remote KVM console access
- Power cycle and hardware monitoring
- Available even when the OS is unreachable
Network & Bandwidth
A dedicated 1 Gbps port with enterprise DDoS scrubbing — not shared uplink capacity.
- Dedicated 1 Gbps port per server

Not sure which way to go?
We'll give you a straight answer — even if it's not dedicated.
If you're currently on VPS and hitting resource ceilings or consistency issues, that's usually the inflection point. Our engineers will review your workload, ask the right questions, and tell you honestly whether dedicated infrastructure makes sense — or whether a better-tuned VPS would do the job.
Quick answers about Blue Arctic dedicated servers.
What is dedicated server hosting?
Dedicated server hosting gives you an entire physical machine reserved exclusively for your use — no shared CPU, no shared RAM, no other tenants on the same hardware. You get full root access, IPMI console access, and bare-metal performance with none of the resource contention found on shared or virtual infrastructure.
How is a dedicated server different from a VPS?
A VPS carves a physical server into isolated virtual instances using a hypervisor — you get guaranteed resources, but the underlying hardware is still shared. A dedicated server removes the hypervisor entirely: your workload runs directly on the physical CPU and RAM. The difference is most visible under sustained high load, in I/O-intensive applications, and anywhere consistent performance without virtualization overhead matters.
Who should use a dedicated server?
Dedicated servers are the right fit for high-traffic sites and applications, databases that require consistent I/O performance, environments with PCI-DSS, HIPAA, or SOC 2 compliance requirements, agencies managing large client portfolios on a single server, and SaaS companies that need full hardware control. If you’re hitting resource ceilings on VPS or need single-tenant infrastructure for compliance reasons, dedicated is the next step.
What does Blue Arctic manage on a dedicated server?
Core Managed is included free on every config. It covers OS-level security patching, Imunify360 threat detection, CloudLinux setup, cPanel/WHM installation and updates, network monitoring, and first-response support for hardware issues. For workloads that need deeper management — application tuning, database administration, or proactive monitoring — managed server administration add-ons are available.
Can I run compliance workloads (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2) on a dedicated server?
Dedicated servers provide the single-tenant, isolated hardware environment that compliance frameworks typically require. Because no other tenant shares your hardware, you control the full security perimeter at the infrastructure level. Blue Arctic does not certify compliance on your behalf — meeting HIPAA, PCI-DSS, or SOC 2 requirements involves your application, policies, and processes in addition to the infrastructure layer. Our engineers can discuss configurations that support your compliance environment.
When is a dedicated server worth it over VPS?
The inflection point is usually one of three things: your workload is outgrowing VPS resource limits and you’re seeing inconsistency under load; you need single-tenant hardware for compliance or contractual reasons; or the overhead of virtualization is measurable in your application. A well-tuned managed VPS handles most growth-stage workloads — if you’re not sure, talk to an engineer and we’ll give you a straight answer.
How quickly can you deploy a dedicated server?
Standard configurations are in stock at our Tampa, FL facility and are typically deployed within 12–24 hours of order confirmation. Custom builds are quoted within one business day and deployed based on component availability. There is no setup fee on any standard config.
