How to Pay an Invoice
Sign in to the Client Portal at https://my.bluearctic.com, open the unpaid invoice and pay by card or PayPal. Renewals are charged to the payment method on file 2 days before the due date, and services renew until you cancel them.
On this page
You can pay any Blue Arctic invoice online in the Client Portal. Invoices are also emailed to the address on your account. Paying before the due date keeps your services running without interruption.
Pay an invoice
Warning
Only pay Blue Arctic invoices at https://my.bluearctic.com. If an email asks you to pay anywhere else, don’t follow its link. Go to the Client Portal yourself instead.
- Sign in to the Client Portal at my.bluearctic.com.
- Open the billing section that lists your invoices. If you can’t find it, open a support ticket or call +1 (888) 624-2527 (account questions, Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4PM ET).
- Open the invoice that’s unpaid.
- Choose how to pay. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and PayPal. Payments are processed through Stripe.
- Enter your card details, or sign in to PayPal, when asked.
- Wait for the confirmation page. Don’t close the window or press Back while the payment is processing.
How to tell it worked
Open the invoice list again. The invoice now shows as paid. If it still shows as unpaid after a few minutes, see Troubleshooting.
Automatic renewal payments
Your services renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel them. Invoices are created 15 days before the due date for monthly services, and 30 days before for annual services. We try to charge the payment method on file 2 days before the due date, so you don’t have to pay renewals by hand. To change the card we charge, see how to manage payment methods.
Note
If an invoice still shows as unpaid on its due date, the automatic payment didn’t go through. Pay it yourself using the steps above.
To stop a service renewing, send a cancellation request from the Client Portal or through support at least 7 days before the renewal date. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Keep a copy of an invoice
Open the invoice in the Client Portal. Use its download or print option if there is one, or your browser’s print command. To keep a file, choose the PDF option instead of a printer (for example, Save as PDF in Chrome).
If an invoice is overdue
Our Master Service Agreement sets these rules:
- A late fee of 1.5% a month applies to overdue balances (or the legal maximum, if that’s lower).
- Your services can be suspended (switched off until you pay) within 5 days after the due date.
- Services can be ended 30 days after the due date, or sooner if you don’t pay within 7 days of a written notice from us.
- After services end, you have 30 days to download your data. After that, your website files, email and other data can be deleted for good.
- To turn a suspended service back on, pay the full balance plus a $25 reactivation fee.
Troubleshooting
- Your card is declined: check the card number, expiry date, security code and billing ZIP code. Then ask your bank whether it blocked the payment.
- You paid but the invoice still shows as unpaid: wait a few minutes and refresh the page. If it still hasn’t changed, open a support ticket with the invoice number.
- You were charged twice, or a charge looks wrong: don’t pay again. Open a support ticket within 15 days of the invoice date, with the invoice number and the dates of the charges. Our service agreement treats a charge that isn’t disputed within 15 days as accepted.
- Your service was suspended for non-payment: pay the overdue invoice, then open a support ticket if the service doesn’t come back.
- The invoice shows the wrong name or address: see how to update your account details.
